Brief
A consultant from Switzerland reached out to us with a desire to create branding for her small business and help her showcase her extensive experience through a simple and inspiring website. The information needed to be presented in a way that would support potential clients in their decision-making process, as most new contacts come through a network of satisfied clients who recommend her services.
She also emphasized that she wanted simple, modern, and minimalist branding that would complement what she and her business represent through the following keywords: reliable, professional, agile, modern, friendly, people- and results-oriented.
Solution
We made sure to be good consultants ourselves and offer the optimal solution that would provide value to the client while also being time- and budget-friendly.
Our team created several branding concept options and, together with the client, came to the final solution. The key element of this branding was the infinity symbol, representing partnership and long-term collaboration with clients.
After creating the key branding elements—logo, color palette, and fonts—we focused on the website design, following the same principles. We wrapped everything in a simple, straightforward, and functional whole by emphasizing key messages, providing concise and direct descriptions of services and collaboration methods, showcasing the biography and certifications, and including clear calls to action.
Result
Though it may seem simple, this solution is highly functional and meets all the objectives the client set for us. Sometimes, it’s more challenging to find complex solutions, but it’s often the opposite in practice. Eliminating unnecessary information to highlight only the key points, simplifying the design so nothing distracts attention, and aligning everything with the aesthetics and culture of the country for which the project is created wasn’t easy.
We know it sounds like a cliché, but client satisfaction is the best indicator that we’ve done a good job. In addition to praise for the process and results, the feedback we’ve received includes positive reactions from the audience to the new website and an increase in inquiries for collaboration.
